Playwrights Workshop Reads Screenplay Where The Harm Is

The June instalment of the Playwrights Workshop Trinbago (PWT) Monthly Readers Theatre Series (MRTS), held the first Wednesday of every month will feature the cold reading of the screenplay Where The Harm Is, written by Brendon Alekseii. The reading will take place on Wednesday June 7 at 7:00 PM (GMT -4) Queen’s Hall Lobby, 1-3 St Ann’s Rd, Port of Spain, and online via Zoom.

Returning home to Trinidad after college, a young woman struggles to feel safe in her family home, now equipped with an artificial intelligence loaded with the memories of the man who abused her.

Brendon Alekseii is a writer, director, teaching artist and 2019 Cropper Foundation Residential Writers Workshop Fellow. He is currently completing his MFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College.

Playwrights Workshop Trinbago (PWT) is inviting actors, playwrights, directors, producers and the general public to join us in person at the Queen’s Hall Lobby, or via Zoom to listen to the cold reading and participate in the discussion to assist the playwright with the further development of the script.
