de Drama FacTTory
de Drama FacTTory is a project designed by Kaithlyn De Gazon and Arnetia Thomas, to create a space for practitioners of the arts, ie. Theatre, Dance, Music and Visual Arts, to perform/showcase their pieces of work to an audience. It seeks to provide opportunities to amateur artists who would have little experience and/or limited resources to showcase their experimental or completed work, as well as a new and exciting source of entertainment for audiences.
Performance Layout:
Cycle 1 begins with 4 Sessions.
Each Session runs for 2 hours.
Approximately 10 performances/pieces of work per Session.
Visual Arts submissions will be on display at the Sessions.
Payment Info:
All proceeds from box office will be divided equally amongst the participants at the end of the night. To be noted groups count as one (1) share.

Solo Activities:
- Monologues 2- 5 min
- Dance solo 3-5 mins
- Music instrument 3-5 mins
- Solo singing 2-5 mins
- Visual Arts exhibition 2 hrs
- Short Film 2-60 mins
- Feature Film 60-120 mins
- Storytelling solo 3-8 mins
- Old mas night 2-5 mins
- Poetry/ spoken word 2-5 mins
- Comedy 10-15 mins
Group Activities (max 5 persons):
- Short plays: 10 -15 mins
- Dance: 3-5 mins
- Music instrument: 3-5 mins
- Singing: 2-5 mins
- Playback theater: 6-60 mins
- Short Film: 2-60 mins
- Feature Film: 60-120 mins
- Storytelling: 3-8 mins
- Traditional Mas/Carnival/Folk Character Representations: 2-5 mins
- Participants will receive a digital copy of their performance for inclusion in their portfolio.
- Copyright material would require an additional license for the recording of the performance and as such, no copy of the recording would be shared with the participant.
- We therefore encourage you to use original content, or music in the public domain such as folk songs and music, classical music etc.
- The application form requires a mandatory sample of the material you would like to include in de Drama FacTTory. This field only accepts URLs.
